1. Returns & Right of Withdrawal You can return anti-sweat shirts to us after trying them on, within the statutory withdrawal period. However, please note that for hygiene reasons, shirts that have already been used or worn are excluded from the right of withdrawal and return.

Place the form in the package together with the shirt in its original packaging. The return address can be found directly on the exchange form.

How is SweatStop® IXAL used against excessive sweating?

Correct application is essential for the success of SweatStop® IXAL Roll-on. Please follow the instructions for use carefully:

• Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin:
• First 5 days: 3 times a day
• After 5 days or after the condition has improved: 2 times a day
• After 10 days or after further improvement: 1 time a day in the morning

The overactive sweat glands are normalized very quickly after application.

Notes

Sweat coming out immediately after application prevents the cream from being absorbed. The product must therefore always be applied to dry skin before sweating increases again. This must be taken into account especially in the case of very heavy sweating with running sweat. The frequency of use must be adjusted to this timing.

Odor formation: In rare cases, body odor only decreases after a few days of use. Do not use in combination with a preparation containing aluminum salts! Stop using this first and only start using SweatStop® IXAL (as described above) when sweating has started again.

Warning

Do not use on weeping or open wounds. Only use on intact skin.

Application 

Before going to bed: 

Apply a small amount to dry skin and allow to absorb overnight. Shower normally in the morning. Two applications per week are normally sufficient. Apply the ahc antiperspirant immediately before going to bed. The sweat glands are usually not active when the body is resting and ahc can therefore be absorbed unhindered. Bathing or showering immediately after application impairs the effect. In the first 3-5 days, dab the areas to be treated every day with a very thin but large area using a cotton swab, cotton ball or directly with your fingertips.

Yes. SweatStop® is free of odour after 20 seconds and therefore allows you to keep on applying your favorite fragrance. However, please be aware that SweatStop® antiperspirants do not have any effect when applied on humid skin. SweatStop® antiperspirants must be applied in the evening, before going to bed. In the morning, washing as usual is possible and a deodorant may be applied if desired.

Applying our product properly is the key to their intended effect. As everybody's skin is different, the application procedure varies according to personal skin type. You will receive detailed instructions upon delivery.

IMPORTANT: Antiperspirants are applied to dry skin in the evening before going to bed.

Generally, SweatStop® can be applied on any area of the skin. Here you can find possible areas of application. Generally perspiration can be ceased at different areas at the same time. The sweat evaporates unperceived on other areas of the skin and partially is also secreted via the kidney. A generalized hyperfuntion of the sweat glands, thus sweating at the entire body, cannot be counteracted.
Depending on the product there are different areas of application. To avoid compensatory sweating SweatStop® antiperspirants should not be applied to more than 3 areas of the skin at the same time. To stop the formation of sweating and odor at other areas of the skin diverse SweatStop® products in different intensities are available. Here you can find an overview. Just use the filters.

SweatStop® Basic Line antiperspirants contain an aluminum chloride solution which closes the pores and prevents sweating. Their reliable effect against odor and perspiration generally unfolds after 1-4 applications.
SweatStop® Instant is enriched with talc and prevents the formation of sweat instantly. It remains effective for approx. 60 min, depending on which degree hands or feet are exposed.

Yes, applying antiperspirants to healthy skin is perfectly safe.

EU Statement via the BfR: Absorption of aluminium through the skin is unlikely

• 2014 The German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) conducted a health risk assessment of aluminium-based antiperspirants in 2014. At the time, the available data was contradictory. Consequently, the Institute highlighted a need for further research. The industry was requested to measure aluminium absorption through the skin. A task that proved extremely challenging and required significant resources to complete.
  
  
• 2020 On 20 July 2020, the BfR published its final conclusion for the entire European Union, confirming that no aluminium are absorbed through the skin. They stated: "Health impairments caused by the absorption of aluminium through the skin are unlikely." You can read the full BfR Opinion 030/2020 of 20 July 2020 here.
  
  
• 2023 This safety assessment was further confirmed and solidified at EU level by the Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS) (Opinion 045/2023). View the SCCS Opinion 045/2023 here.

In summary: when applied correctly to healthy skin (avoiding freshly shaved skin), the use of these products is entirely safe.

No. Tap water iontophoresis (abbreviated LWI) is a long-tried and proven method for the reduction of hand, foot, face and armpit sweat. It is designed for use with pure water. The effect mechanism is not fully known, but it is assumed that it compares to the effects of the salt contained in aluminum-antiperspirants: The canals of the sweat glands leading to the outside of the skin are temporarily clogged by coagulation of proteins.
Aluminum salt-containing antiperspirants have been used for centuries to reduce the formation of perspiration. The solution narrows the sweat glands in upper skin layers. If an aluminum-salt-containing solution were added to the iontophoresis bath, the active ingredients which would otherwise be harmless on the upper skin layers would enter deeper layers of the skin and thereby also enter the blood circulation. This should be avoided by any means! The effect of combining both approaches are not known, since there is no empirical data on this.
We strongly advise against using the tap water iontophoresis combined with aluminum salt-containing additives.

Iontophoresis during pregnancy and breastfeeding

As the available safety data for the use of iontophoresis in pregnancy is insufficient, we recommend the treatment to be suspended during pregnancy and during breastfeeding.

SweatStop® has been dermatologically tested for skin tolerance, achieving a "very good" rating. The active ingredient acts only on the surface and does not enter the bloodstream, making the solution perfectly safe to use.

Are antiperspirants safe? Yes. Application to healthy skin is unproblematic.

The scientific evidence has strengthened significantly in recent years:

• 2014: Initial assessments showed an unclear data situation; the BfR called for new studies on skin absorption.
• 2020: The BfR gave the all-clear: new studies prove that aluminium is hardly absorbed through the skin. According to current scientific knowledge, health impairments are unlikely (BfR 030/2020).
• 2023: Safety was reaffirmed at EU level by the scientific committee SCCS (SCCS 045/2023).

Conclusion: As long as the product is applied to healthy, non-freshly shaved skin, its use is absolutely safe.

Deodorants prevent the formation of the odour causing bacteria and cover the smell. They only take effect for a very limited space of time, however, as they do not fight the actual problem - the formation of sweat - at its root.
Antiperspirants on the other hand narrow the perspiratory glands and thus prevent the secretion of sweat.

Yes. Antiperspirants are applied immediately before going to bed. In the morning, you can follow your usual washing routine and use a deodorant if necessary.

In short, the answer is no. But in the aim to increase the knowledge and understanding of the clients, and to promote confidence in our products, we can explain further. 

Oncology care products are often misleadingly linked to psychoactive cannabinoids, as the one found in the plant Cannabis sativa.
However, the cannabinoid family is much larger; in addition to those in the Cannabis plant (only one of which is psychoactive), there are two other classes of cannabinoids -the synthetic cannabinoids and the endogenous cannabinoids, or endocannabinoids.

Thus the cannabinoid system is very complex, including different mediators (plant-derived, synthetic and endogenous), various types of targets (cannabinoid receptors and others), multi-signal pathways and a lot of ion channels. A thorough understanding requires considerable background in immunology and neurology. 

In recent decades, the endocannabinoid system has attracted considerable attention as a potential therapeutic target in numerous physiological conditions, such as in energy balance, appetite stimulation, blood pressure, pain modulation, embryogenesis, nausea and vomiting control, memory, learning and immune response, as well as in pathological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and multiple sclerosis. 

The Again Life Italia products contain FAG® (patented Fatty Acid Group) a formulation of natural Fatty Acids which at the topical level, promotes the regulation of the inflammatory reaction through modulating the release of inflammatory mediators and angiogenesis-promoting factors, while binding, among others, to cannabinoid and vanilloid receptors of mast cells, macrophages and keratinocytes. These activities lead to a decrease in clinical signs (pain, itching, redness, etc.) by reducing inflammation, a decrease in the thickness of lesions and to the re-instauration of physiological apoptosis, normal cell replacement and regulation of angiogenesis. 

One ingredient of the FAG® formulation for the oncological support line is PEA (Palmitoylethanolamid), which belongs to the class of the NAE phospholipids, which also includes the first endocannabinoid to be discovered. PEA was firstly isolated from soy lecithin, egg yolk, and peanut meal (Ganley et al.,1958; Petrosino and Di Marzo, 2017). While PEA is technically a non-endocannabinoid lipid mediator (does not bind itself directly to the cannabinoid receptors but promotes the binding of others), both preclinical and clinical studies indicate that PEA is potentially useful in a wide range of therapeutic areas, including eczema, pain, and neurodegeneration.

To further clarify, endocannabinoids are substances that occur naturally in our body and control the activity of the mast cell and nerve fibers. Due to the increased stress to which the tissue and the nerve fibers are exposed during chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy, the body can no longer produce these substances themselves. FAG® regulates the mast cell activity by supplying the required natural substances which will help restore system functionality.
