Jojoba Oil Jojoba oil is obtained from the seeds of the evergreen shrub "Simmondsia chinensis." This oil is a golden-yellow, clear liquid wax. The oil is structured similarly to human skin sebum. Jojoba oil is particularly nourishing and protective; it absorbs well and quickly without being greasy. Squalane (Plant-based) Squalane is extracted from vegetable oils such as olive, amaranth, palm, rice germ, and wheat germ oil and is subsequently hydrated to saturated squalane.
